Executive Coaching
What it is: Executive coaching is a relationship between a coach and a client with the goal to enhance the client's leadership performance and development. What we do: We work with your leaders to develop an overall coaching objective. Then we meet with them, as required, over a fixed period - constantly moving them towards achieving their goal. |
Leadership and project team coaching
What it is: Teams come together because individuals are recruited to contribute to the overall team objectives. But that doesn't make it a high performing team. What we do: Using simple team assessments and coaching interventions, we work with both senior leadership, management and project groups to create high performing teams – achieving the best possible team outcome. |
Resilient Leadership
What it is: Resilient leadership is about having a deeper understanding of who you are as a person, and what you do as a leader. What we do: Using the Resilient Leaders Elements (RLE), we work with your leaders to understand their strengths so that they can call on them in times of difficulty. We design focused activities to target their development areas to build “muscle” to sustain growth and capability. |
Leadership/management apprenticeships
What it is: Businesses that are subject to the apprenticeship Levy are able to access funds to provide free apprenticeships. What we do: Through JRV Associates (www.jrvassociates.co.uk), Creative Minds can design and deliver both Level 3 and Level 5 Leadership and Management Apprenticeship. These are based on experiential based learning, and come at no cost to our clients. |
Mentoring and mentor supervision
What it is: Mentoring (and reverse mentoring) is a learning and development partnership between someone with experience and someone who wants to learn. What we do: We train your people to be effective mentors to each other. We provide the support network your mentors need - helping them to overcome specific mentee problems and enabling them to continue providing a positive mentoring experience. |
Workshop facilitation
What it is: Workshops are a great tool for encouraging free flowing and creative discussions in an informal and friendly environment. What we do: We can host and facilitate your workshops. First, we’ll ‘break the ice’ and ensure a common purpose. Then we’ll work towards the outcome by ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to contribute. We’ll conclude with a summary of all contributions. |
Having been selected for the Interserve Mentoring programme, I was fortunate enough to have Steve leading and coaching our break-out groups. Steve has the ability to create a strong team ethic/chemistry within a short space of time, which enabled us all to be open about our challenges and opinions. From here I continued working with Steve as my business coach. Following regular meetings I felt I had a clear objective, strategy and structure in my approach to working life at Interserve. In addition, Steve helped me to understand the importance of building strong business relations within our organisation with my extended network ie those colleagues that you do not see day to day. This approach was key to building trust, supporting one another and improving our output through mutual understanding and appreciation of our roles and responsibilities.
